Zune in Australia in 2008
The Consumer Electronics Show brings exciting news every year about the future of technology. This year’s show has again come up with the goods, and the Microsoft Zune is the focus. It has been announced by Microsoft that the Zune will be released globally in 2008, meaning sometime this year we will have the Zune.
If that’s not reason to celebrate the new year, then i’m not sure what is!

Oh about time! I wasn’t sure they’d bring it out here. Too bad we will miss out on the limited edition V-day ones! =(
I really want one, I’m buying one off eBay, then when its released here in AU I’m buying the pink one ^_^ yay!!! thats made me happy!

About time….i have been hanging for it to come here so i can get it fixed….i am not saying it is bad i just broke to screen but i had home for over a year……stupid boyfriend always braking something.
so i am putting a bet that it wont come out till half way threw 08 or christmas 08

I already have my Zune 80GB here, and love it because it no one has got it yet when am in the train.
My thought is that it will be around 3rd quarter of the year, just in time for Xmas.
Please keep waiting, it’s worth the waiting time.

Hey where did you find that source from?
There is NO global release of zune.
It’s only being released to Canada.
I continuously phone and email Microsoft to release the zune, but they dont give a good response. They’d better release this thing.
I’ve been waiting ever since it came out in the US.

I couldn’t find a better result for what i was looking for and in the stroke time. I’ve been waiting for it to come to us Aussies. I just found this website and was stunned because others sites don’t have the real info. Plus my mp4 died and i need a new one. So looks like i wont be getting one soon im waiting for the zune.

i have a zune i got it for my birthday back in april 2008
from the US the device is dope
only having problems is with the shitty software
it is not loading up right it loads a zune window but its all white so i can’t put anything more on or take anything off untill this problem is fixed the first software update worked with no problems 2.3 and 2.5 updates have given me the shits had to uninstal and reinstall and get softwar patch to get it to work and now it gone white again the software is shit the player is good they need to fix the software

I plan on getting one shipped to australia, but are there limitations on what we can do because we arent in the same reason?
